I have seen many many movies, but very few have made any lasting impression on me. I know you're probably sick of hearing about the King of Pop since his surprise death in June. But honestly, I'm going to talk about the movie, not the conspiracy theories and other crap he went through. I saw This Is It, a documentary/musical of footage shot during MJ's concert rehearsals, thinking it would be a good film. But it was an a-w-e-s-o-m-e film, so awesome in fact that I stayed glued to my seat until the very end of the credits!!! I liked how it wasnt just about him; the numerous others involved with the concert were all given a chance to speak about their work and excitement. But the best part about the movie is the art. yes, the A-R-T. Choreography, Stagecraft,Vocals,Music,Costumes,Pyrotechnics,Computer Animation... all presented at their most creative and professional level. It was almost overwhelming to think so much amazing talent could be present in a non-fiction movie. Even if you were never a big fan of his, if you love art and art is your passion, please see this movie. It's a masterpiece.
